Sustainability and circular economy in stand design

The circular economy in the design of stands: beyond aesthetics

At Nexo Events we apply the principles of the circular economy as a basis for designing more responsible stands. This involves optimizing resources, prolonging the useful life of materials and reducing the environmental impact, without compromising creativity, functionality or the visitor experience.

A clear example is the reuse of a large format LED screen of our M·tica stand at the TRUSTECH fair, originally installed on the roof. It was designed to be easily removable and adaptable, allowing its use in different events with changes in design and functionality.

Similarly, the metal structure we used at the ISE fair for the HP stand was successfully reused for the Nutanix stand during the Gartner Symposium event, we transform the structure mainly to create a VIP room, maintaining an elegant design and preserving key elements such as lighting and part of the furniture.

Another case is the GPG and GMG stand in Graphispag, where we opt for recycled materials and configurations that facilitate disassembly. In this way, we guarantee that each component can have a second useful life, aligning itself with a more efficient and sustainable view of events.

What is a sustainable stand and why is it relevant?

In the world of fairs and events, sustainable stands represent a new way of doing things. It is not just about design, but about taking responsibility for the environment.

A sustainable stand is one designed to reduce the environmental impact in all its stages: from design and manufacturing, to transport, assembly, use and subsequent reuse.

What elements can be reused in a sustainable way?

Structures and panels: Made of certified wood or modular aluminum, they allow their reuse in multiple fairs without losing quality or aesthetics.

Lighting: Low consumption LED technology, efficient, durable and with less energy impact.

Audiovisuals: Use of digital screens that eliminate the need for paper printing, offering greater flexibility and dynamism.

Moquettes: We select options made with recycled, modular, resistant and easy to assemble, disassemble and reuse materials.

Reusable furniture: design, resistance and versatility of the furniture is an essential part of any stand. At Nexo Events we work with tables, stools, counters, shelves and exhibitors that have been designed for prolonged use. Made of robust materials and durable finishes, they can be stored and adapted according to the type of event, the available space or the specific needs of each client.
Thanks to its timeless and modular design, they maintain their functionality and visual presence even after several assemblies. This strategy not only reduces the environmental impact, but also reduces production and logistics costs in the medium and long term.

Why bet on sustainability in the design of stands?

Choosing a sustainable approach is not only a trend: it is a strategic decision with multiple benefits:

It reduces the consumption of resources and energy.

It reduces waste and emissions derived from assembly and transport.

It allows the reuse of structures and furniture in different events.

It strengthens the brand image as a company committed to the environment.

It meets the standards that many international fairs are already demanding from their exhibitors.
At Nexo Events we believe that sustainability is not at odds with innovation or visual impact. On the contrary, designing sustainable stands is an intelligent way to stand out, connect with the current values of the public and build a more conscious presence in the trade fair environment. Betting on circular solutions is betting on the future: more efficient, more responsible and with a brand identity aligned with global challenges.

If you are ready to take your presence at fairs to another level, choose a stand that leaves its mark... without leaving waste.
